On the 11th of September 2005 we ran a excursion to Carterton to pick daffodils, as part of the Cancer Society fundraiser event they hold yearly.
Due to recent lowering of the Manawatu Gorge tunnels we had to run to Wellington and a Diesel took the train to Carterton.
J1211 also took it's own load of passengers from Wellington.
