A1998 and A2005 Restoration and Maintenance

These 2 carriages were know as A56833 and A56884 while they were being restored. When they were mainline certified they were reverted to their pre TMS numbers as it is more historically correct.

	Late 2007 Thanks to the Eastern Central Community Trust, as they have given a grant to assist with the overhaul of these two Ex-Auckland Subbie Cars.
	29th November 2003 Removing more body knees.
	14th June 2003 We have a gang of about seven people working on the carriages, some work full time. Here you can see the rusted spark guards being removed.
	17th May 2003 Water has got into some parts of the carriage and removable of some of the seats is required to fix the problem.
	20th March 2003 The sides have been removed so we can check for rust in the brackets.
	Work Week - March 2003 Once needle gunned we used a electric wire bush to clean up the crash ends then painted them with primer.
	Work Week - March 2003 Using a needle gun to remove the scale from the crash ends.
	Work Week - March 2003 We need to remove the cladding so the brackets could be checked for rust.
